- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 May 2019This starts promisingly but turns into a long description of a day at school with many spills, trips, failing tests and so on. I am not interested in school days and those who are may enjoy this more. I also think it's strange that the teen girl doesn't freak out when a man appears in her bedroom. Okay, he's a leprechaun, but still....
The version I read has three chapters and I take it there is a longer book. This is probably best suited to YA girl readers under 16. I downloaded an ARC from Instafreebie. This is an unbiased review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book and I'll certainly follow the rest of the series.
OMG I loved this book. It's so different from anything I've ever read and it's impossible to stop reading.
What would you do if someone stole all your luck?
Well I hope I don't ever have to deal with this because Megan sure suffered a lot after a Leprechaun stole all her luck because she didn't make a deal with him. Now imagine the most embarrassing things that could happen to someone in public?
Yep, you got it. All the unimaginable things happens to Megan after all her luck is stolen and she can only count with her best friend, and at the moment only friend, since no one wants to be around a walking disaster waiting to happen, and also her crush that despite all the bad things happening to Megan and to some of those close to her, stay by her side.
I loved this book because it's funny, full of unbelievable stuff all happening to the same person in one single days, or over various days. I have been through some of these embarrassing things but all of these in the same day, I would have gone crazy. Megan certainly is strong to deal with all those stuff and still having enough strength to fight back. But I guess she had pretty awesome friends to back her up and I like all these characters and they interaction and support.
I love everything that has mythology but this is new for me so it was interesting just given the whole luck thing being like business and adding all the stuff that happens in this book, I can say there's no boring page at all and I don't think anyone wouldn't like this book. It's made to all ages.
That doesn't mean there's no romance, because there is and I thought maybe it wouldn't given the main plot of this book, but the romance is great because it's not forced or improper to kids. I like the fact that this was built slow and the love interest and the main character got to know each other and get close before any romance could happen, besides there were more important thing to solve than a love life, and I like that Megan's crush did his best to help her get her luck back.
I like Megan's crazy family and certainly like her relationship with her younger twins siblings and hope to se more development with her older brother.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great start to a fun series
This book was a super fun read! I was worried Megan's bad luck would get old and tiresome, but the author kept her mishaps fresh and new. I will definitely continue reading this series. The ending was intriguing without being a cliffhanger, which I loved! The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I feel the book needs some tighter edits. The leprechaun's name is spelled three different ways, making it confusing. And several times as I read along, I stumbled and was pulled from the story because of a missing word or words being switched around. However, it wasn't enough to deter me from continuing with the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved it! Super fun read.
This book is great for all ages. I loved it, and my kids loved it when I read it to them, too. It's the first in a series. I'm reading the second now. I can't wait to see what happens next! I love the interaction between the heroine and her friends and family. She's fearless! It's a really quick read. Louie the Leprechaun is a pain! haha I highly recommend this book and look forward to more books from this author.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent book
Stolen Luck was a pretty good book. These types of books are right up my ally but I found the dialogue a bit rough and forced at times. The store seems to take several different ideas from other books and mash them together. It does work for the book for the most part and if I was around 12 still, I am sure this book would be a 4 or 5 for me. I would recommend it to young readers as the story line was interesting enough to get me to finish it.

5.0 out of 5 stars riveting adventure
The teenage clumsiness felt all too familiar, but it drew me in. It was hard to put the book down with unexpected twists and turns.
