Curse of Stigmata: A Mystery Thriller (Judas Reflections Book 2) Kindle Edition
Judas Iscariot is hot on the trail of two precious coins believed to be part of the bounty once paid to him for betraying Jesus Christ. The coins are rumored to be in the possession of a Pyrenean mountain shepherd, whose beautiful, but disturbed daughter, Rachel, is purported to be something even rarer than a Judas blood coin... a genuine stigmatic.
What once looked like a quick journey to hasten his soul’s redemption turns into a tense series of events.
Traveling thousands of miles across the world’s grand open waters with fellow immortal Juan Garcia de Moguer, the captivating Rachel, and a ruthless Dutch pirate/slave trader named Captain Dirk Chivers teaches Emmanuel an essential lesson about himself.
How far is he willing to go to get what he wants?
Curse of Stigmata is the second book in the Judas Reflections series of prequel mystery thrillers, and is part of the broader Cursed Immortals world of supernatural adventures.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 September 2013After reading the first in this series I was so excited for the second book and I am very pleased to say I wasn't disappointed! I feel like we get to see a little more of Judas's personality in this story and perhaps understand more the fight he is having to go through. i enjoyed reading this book so much I couldn't put it down for a minute, the story was very intense and well written. This story can be read as a standalone novel or as a series, I would recommend starting with book 1 as it is a brilliant set so far!! Another wonderfully well written story by two very talented authors!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 July 2013A completely new twist to Judas and Jack the Ripper. The book was beautifully written and kept my attention the whole time - couldn't put it down. I have started to feel sorry for Judas as he tries to make amends and wonder where his path will lead him in his quest for the coins!
Sorry it went to wrong book (Curse of Stigmata).
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 September 2015Although this is a more recent book I believe it to be the one which should be read first in both the Judas Reflesctions and the Judas Chronicles. series'.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 August 2013The storyline was not too bad but it was very poorly written. I do not think I would bother reading any other books by this author

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved this story!
Judas Iscariot is an immortal known as Emmanuel Ortiz and must walk the Earth as his punishment for having betrayed Jesus Christ for thirty pieces of silver. His quest takes him all over the world trying to recover all of the coins. In this story he travels to mountain tops and across seas by pirate ship hoping to recover two of them. The adventures he comes across are very entertaining and kept my interest as he traveled from the Pyrenees Mountains to Madagascar and the characters we meet along the way are colorful and very interesting as we find out how each plays a part in the course of this story. Some are likeable...some are a mystery and some are immortals just as Emmanuel is. I loved this story and couldn't put it down until it was finished. I definitely recommend this and "The Judas Reflections Murder In Whitechapel" to anyone who likes a well written story that they will lose themselves in and enjoy. Both stories were written by the magnificent writing duo of Michelle Wright and Aiden James both of which are outstanding authors.

4.0 out of 5 stars Realism and fantasy!
I don't have much to compare for historical fiction, having only read one other book in this genre, the first in this Reflections series, Murder in Whitechapel (was awesome, if you haven't read that one, check it out!). This is a really cool spinoff of the Judas Chronicles that go back in time where Judas reflects on his memories and how he got his first coins. I absolutely LOVED the cameos from a pair of immortal brothers. It was like seeing old friends. I'm now incredibly curious on how their storyline will tie in to the foreshadowing toward the end of the book. Thankfully, the wait shouldn't be long - the authors are incredibly wonderful at leaving teasers and not gut wrenching cliff hangers for their readers.

This book tell how Judas, at this time known as Emmanuel, meets Rachel. Emmanuel think only of his self. Patriots Who treats women with total disrespect. When he and Juan met Rachel, she is having a stigmata attack. Will Judas learn to respect women and become a man of honor? Great story.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a Favorite
I chose this rating because I like the series but did not like this book. I almost stopped reading a few times however I did want to see if Judas got the two coins. I wouldn't recommend this book. I think is would be ok to skip to the next book. I do like the Judas character. I will continue with the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars YOU NEED TO READ THIS STORY
Aiden James and Michelle Wright do a super job of adding to the Reflections of Judas Iscariot aka Emmanuel Ortiz in this the second part of the series The Judas Reflections: Curse of Stigmata. These two have a way of keeping readers turning pages to see what happens next. In this story we go back in time from 1888 to the 17th century and to the mountains of France where Judas believes two of his blood coins can be found in the possession of a goat herder, Isaac and his beautiful daughter, Rachel. Judas travels with his friend Juan, who is an immortal and a guide Dario. They climb mountainous terrain to find Isaac, who is not respectable and 18 year old Rachel, who bears the Stigmata.
Does Judas find his blood coins? Does Rachel really bear the Stigmata? You need to read the story to answer these questions. Once again you will want to keep turning pages to find out what happens next. Aiden James and Michelle Wright congrats on another great story. Keep them coming.
