- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 May 2018This was so sad and really brought home the plight of the refugees - made all the more real because it was set in Britain. A brilliant and gripping story that I sincerely hope never happens here. It was on my mind for quite a few days after I finished it.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 January 2018Wow!! This book was quite simply unputdownable! It has little stylistic merit and I found it a harrowing read, and yet it is no exaggeration to say it has challenged me and shaken me out of my complacency in a way no other book has ever done. Very highly recommended!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 January 2016The best thing he's ever written and I'm a long term fan of his stuff.
Finished it in one session
Warning though tissues should be at hand
