Born February 4, 1988 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Jennifer was the youngest child. She grew up with one brother and 2 loving, strict parents. Jennifer’s mother was a stay at home mom, and took care of her and her brother until they graduated high school. Jennifer’s father was a chef. At a young age Jennifer loved reading, “Most of my childhood my face was planted in a book, it wasn’t until I was 14 that my love for reading grew into a passion for writing.” Growing up some of Jennifer’s fondest memories were cooking in the kitchen with her family. “My parents were always very picky about what type of food we ate and it was essential that we always ate a healthy all organic diet, full of fresh fruits and vegetables.” Jennifer states this is what sparked her interest in writing books about healthy eating, lifestyle, pets, etc. Jennifer now lives in New Hampshire with her husband Ansel and their 2 beautiful dogs. She spends most days outside in her yard writing and researching. If she’s not doing that then most likely she is reading, hiking with her pets, cooking, practicing yoga, or spending time with her loving husband!

It includes a in-depth description of what acne is and it has several strategies, habits and routines to get rid of it. I especially enjoyed the diet advice. As a teenager who has struggled with acne most of my teenage years I would highly recommend this book. It is a quick and easy read.

Taking the time to explain some basic terminology helped me understand what was at the root causes of taking care of my skin. I learned some tips that I was able to put into action right away. - Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2016Since I was young I've had a problem with dandruff to seborrheic skin, no matter how many doctors I've visited they all said the same thing, use this shampoo or this ointment, and it temporally helped with the symptoms, but they have never been able to actually remove the cause, now with this guide, I cant really believe that with simple organic solutions we can actually eliminate much more then just skin conditions, I feel so much better - thank you!!!

The author spoke of researching extensively, yet the information contained was very basic, and all statistics seemed to come from the Heart Association. There was nothing dangerous or unwise suggested here, but it can all be summed up as: live a healthy lifestyle. Anyone who is truly frustrated by acne has read more information on Acne.org.

I found this guide insightful and full of basic variables that can promote and degenerate skin health.
