Some Enchanted Evening: The Lost Princesses #1 Kindle Edition
Once upon a time . . .
in a kingdom high in the Pyrenees, three young princesses were forced to flee the chaos in their land—vanishing without a trace and lost to their people . . . until the day a courageous prince can bring the princesses home.
One of Scotland's most dangerous men, Robert MacKenzie is dazzled by the enchanting beauty who rides into the town he is sworn to defend. Though he is wary of the exquisite stranger, Clarice stirs emotions within him that Robert buried deeply years before. And now he must have her at any cost, vowing to gain her trust through the powers of his sensuous seduction.
Torn between her need to protect her secrets and her aching desire for the dark, tormented earl of Hepburn, Clarice is pulled into Robert's glamorous world . . . and into his perilous plan for justice and revenge. And with the winds of treachery swirling around them, a runaway princess must draw Robert's heart from the shadows and make him believe in happily-ever-after.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2024"Some Enchanted Evening" by Christina Dodd is a captivating romance novel that weaves together intrigue, passion, and a touch of magic. Set against the backdrop of a charming small town, the story follows the enigmatic Liana Linwood as she navigates the complexities of love and family secrets. Dodd's writing style is both lyrical and evocative, drawing readers into a world where anything seems possible. The chemistry between the characters sizzles on the page, making it impossible to put the book down. With its blend of mystery, romance, and enchantment, "Some Enchanted Evening" is a delightful read that will leave you spellbound until the very last page.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2014Love Christina Dodd, I finished in one day, fast paced read, kept my interest. This is the first book in a series, about three sisters, I already read the last one first, so I had to go back, and read #1. I will definitely be reading the next one in the series. If you like princess' and prince's, romance with a little suspense you will like this story.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2024This was probably the most sensual of the three books. And, as always, I read the series entirely out of order. I read the third book so long ago I scarcely remember it.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2012this is a great book and the other two books that go along with this are great too. i love christina dodd books. and i highly recommend them to people who like to read historical romance books.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2017Dodd is absolutely magic. Her writing zips along, making you flip the pages. I've read many of her romantic suspense and paranormal novels, and I oved this book as much as I did those. Very highly recommended.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2012I'm writing this review after reading the first and second book. This book was a great read. I only give it a four because I felt the ending was a little slow.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2012Great book! Well written and a good story line. This is a great author and I've enjoyed everything I've read by her.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2011This story drags, the plotline is thin, and I just wanted it to end. There was enough meat to the story, however, to hook me into buying the two sequels. I have read other Christina Dodd novels, and I am a fan. So I know she is a much better author than any of the books in this series proves. Disappointing.
