They married and when she miscarried she was left with more doubts. When she finds her husband with his PA at his London flat she believes the worst and leaves. He thinks all she wants was the money. Now several years later they meet up again in Italy. He wants her back. Will she go? What about the other woman? What is his problem and why blackmail her?

A good book with the barely legal heroine and the older H getting married and suffering the loss of a child. The heroine thinks her husband and his ever present ( let's not forget jealous and bitchy) PA. The horrible woman doesn't even inform her boss that his wife is in the hospital having a miscarriage because he was in the middle of "important" business talks. Well, our heroine has enough and does a runner. Read the book to see what happens next.

This book glorified violence and painted abusive and jealous husbands as romantic. At one point in the story, the H grabbed the h by the throat and threatened to kill her if she left him for another man. There were also, rape scenes in my opinion. This sort of writing is absolute garbage and glorifies spousal abuse. I personally don't know any woman who gets turned on by being thrown down and having her clothes forcibly ripped off. If you want your heros to be real men then give this book a pass.
