This passion of his has transitioned across to writing a number of kids books that are around these topics. His desire is for kids to learn and really enjoy what they have read while discovering new things. Customer favorites have included his book on Storms, Abraham Lincoln, & Walt Disney.

This book gives an overview of Helen Keller's life. This book follows the formula of other "fun facts" books of having a photo on every page along with with Wiki text. It appears that the author did not have enough real photos and subtitled random girl and females pictures for Helen Keller. I would have preferred fewer photos or drawings, rather than photographs of random young girls and women in the situations mentioned in the text. On the positive side, the text is pretty interesting and the life of this outstanding woman a great example of overcoming difficulties.Ali Julia review

Oh such great information! What a woman! This is one of those books that will grab even a child's attention from start to finish. It is one of those "I can't put it down until I'm through, pieces that leaves you informed and inspired. Jacob Smith made such good use of engaging pictures and I really love the choice of quotes from Helen Keller herself - so nice :). The book is easy to read, the information flows smoothly, and you can literally feel your imagination going to work conjuring up images and reenacting the various scenes of Helen's life. Expect to have a fulfilling educational journey...

This is a short biography for kids on the life of Helen Keller. This woman is one of the most distinguished people in the world because of her ability to take the burdens of lack of vision and hearing and become an advocate for others with the same disabilities. Through her struggles we learn how to be truly human and compassionate to others.
