I grew up going to the Jersey shore, spending my summer vacations on the coast of New Jersey. Long Beach Island (also known as LBI) is a setting I know inside and out and makes a perfect backdrop for my stories. Of course, I changed the names a bit since I was writing about murder and mayhem!

The cozy mystery is set in the off-season, which is my favorite time down there. Summer is great for the beach and sunning , but off-season if feels like you've got the island to yourself sometimes. The Annie Addison Cozy Mysteries are lighthearted and family friendly reads. (No sex, no blood, no gore, no foul language)

If you're looking for a fun and regional read in a charming beach town, then be sure to give this series a shot. The books are labeled with numbers to make for easier sequencing. While each book can be read alone, they do follow a timeline. If you like themed mysteries this would be a beach theme and a beauty shop theme. It's a six book series that wraps up with a Christmas story. I hope you enjoy them! I had so much fun writing the books.

Molly Dox, certified Jersey girl, spent her summer vacations on the beach. With a fondness for the shore, it was a perfect setting for her Annie Addison cozy mysteries.

Molly is happily married and has two grown boys. They are both funnier than her and smarter than her…or at least they think so. ;) All kidding aside, they are amazing.

Molly spends her time between writing and corralling her three dogs in an attempt to get them to go outside at the same time. Sometimes writing books is an easier task. And yes, her Jack Russell thinks he’s in charge. Some days he is.

Otherwise, she’s happily snacking and padding her hips while adding just a few more grays in her quest for imperfection. It’s an art – getting older. In her (cough) late forties, she’s enjoying her dream of writing full-time.

Her husband, an insanely patient man, believed in her from the start. Crazy man didn’t know any better.
