About the authors
Jeremiah Murphy has been writing stories since he was eleven years old, so telling tales is his default setting. He has lived a life of adventure and debauchery, leading him from the cowboy bars of Nebraska to the hard streets of New York City to the deserts of Doha, Qatar, including stops in New Mexico, New Jersey, Oklahoma, and Indiana. He currently lives in Washington, DC, with his best friend, Newcastle the cat, who has made it his mission to keep him from working. When he’s not writing, he can be seen scouring the internet for more Doctor Who merchandise for his bookshelf, exploring his shockingly vast neighborhood, or watching bad movies with his roommate.
DJ Tyrer is probably best known as a horror writer, but has written in many other different genres and styles, as well as being behind the Atlantean Publishing small press.
Sharon Frame Gay grew up a child of the highway, playing by the side of the road. She is internationally published in several anthologies and literary magazines, including Chicken Soup For The Soul, Gravel, Biostories, Typehouse, Crannog Magazine, Lowestoft Chronicle, Thrice Fiction, Fiction on the Web, Saddlebag Dispatches, Literary Orphans,Typehouse and others. She has won awards at The Writing District, Rope and Wire, Owl Hollow Press and Wow-Women On Writing, and has twice been nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
A collection of her short stories, "Song of the Highway" is out now in paperback and Kindle.

I love collections, they really help me locate new authors, and this was not a disappointment. The book is well edited, and the stories are all creepy, of course, and some darn right nightmare inducing - Sharon Frame Gay's "Coach" comes to mind. I also have to admit I like collections because they are short stories and I can enjoy them within a shorter time frame. Learned quickly to NOT read these at bedtime though, I wasn't kidding about nightmares!
If you enjoy being truly creeped out, I think you'll love this collection too!
