The game is over. Now comes WAR.

The AO have come out of hiding, and war is upon the Ark Academy. People are going to die, because war isn’t pretty.

This time, there is no reset after dying.

The Animus had better have prepared the students because the gloves are off, and it is student against student, academy against academy.

With the future of humanity on the line.

Unfortunately, to pass his final year, Kaiden needs to not only pass the test but stay alive too.

Game time is over, real life is now up close and personal...

Michael Anderle (ok, weird talking about myself in the 3rd person) (1967-Hopefully a long time from NOW) was born in Houston, Tx. A very curious child, he got into trouble - a lot. What to do with an inquisitive mind when he was grounded? Read!

Ok, done with all of that 3rd person stuff.

In the first 20 years, I mostly read Science Fiction and Fantasy. In the last 10 years I have enjoyed Urban Fantasy and Military Fiction. With this background, I've been blessed with creating The Kurtherian Gambit series, a well-selling, and fan loved, collection of stories.

The fans have propelled these stories beyond my wildest imagination and they should get all of the credit for sharing with friends, family and occasionally the random person on the street. They are fantastic!

I am so glad you are so prolific. Because you leave me on the edge of my seat so often I would probably have a stroke if I couldn't get the next book for years . Action adventure and strategy. This is a great series and a worthy addition to the Anderle universe .

I loved this book, we finally see what the bad guys have been planning this whole time and we can start to see how everything goes together, but one thing I did not like was the copy and paste at the beginning of chapter thirty-six. It's copied line for line from the previous book, something that I've noticed several times throughout the series. I hope that this doesn't happen in the next books because it prevents these books from being truly great.

Derrick and the AO step out of the shadows to wear havoc on the world. Men and women that were once allies show the depth of betrayal, greed and lust for power killing friends and capturing students as the Nexus and other Arc Academies fall. This book is almost non-stop action and a battle for survival. It will keep you turning pages late into the night!

This has quickly become one of my favorite series. I'm hoping this series continues after the next 2 books! I'd love to see the battle play out with the coming aliens. This series has the ability to continue. Hoping Joshua will write more for his avid fans!

OMG, where to start. This story was absolutely insane. Take the worst of evil and magnify it a hundred times and you have the villains in this book. What makes it very real is that we've had 2 world wars that started because madmen had a vision for the perfect world. This story is about such a madman and his minions who believe they are justified in the destruction of those who they perceive stand in their way. Invasion tops all of them at this point in the series. I have experienced such a range of emotion that I'm at a loss to adequately describe how I feel. All I can say is there had better be some dammed retribution coming. WOW, well done!!

Yet another great book in this series and by the author. The characters are real and the ability for the author to bring the characters and world to life is remarkable.

This is a marvelous story about someone with a great idea (he thinks) and he wants everyone to believe it also. Hum, what belief system is like that? They want to either enslave you, or kill you if you won't believe their bull stuff. I firmly think that there will be no peace until they modify their book a little or we kill them all. I wish I could find another way. I just cannot believe their stupid book.

Incredible story, just as the previous stories this was full of awesome action even though the bad guys were winning.

After finally hitting back it doesn't take long to find out some can hit even harder and so begins the massive battles to shame even the Animus.
With plenty of action this is a great read and just makes the sprint to the finish even better.

A full on rapid paced battle, with droids and mechs, as the Arbiter Organisation comes out of hiding in full attack mode.

Last year at the Academy. All their learning being consolidated and then triumphant finish! How wrong can they be. They've all been dragged into a War. Kaiden still doesn't realise how important he is, Sacha and Wolfson doing their best to hold it all together. This became a read it in one session, I could not put the book down.

3.0 out of 5 stars The story continues

Although I’ve enjoyed this series this novel felt like all aspects of the key characters were much the same, not as gripping and no plot twists and a tad bit of an anti climax so far. Fingers crossed the next novel picks it back up again.

I'm loving the characters and story more each book and cannot wait to read the next one as soon as it comes out. This one is quite harrowing in all the senseless death, which is the point of the protagonist, but is both exciting and exhausting. I need to know what happens next. Cheers!
