Falling for Rachel (Stanislaskis Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 2,555 ratings

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts comes the third compelling story in the fan-favorite Stanislaski series!

For passionate lawyer Rachel Stanislaski, work is her life. Assigned to watch over teenage delinquent Nicholas LeBeck, the last thing Rachel needs is Nick’s hot-headed stepbrother storming into her courtroom. Zack Muldoon is protective and stubborn, but whether he likes it or not, he needs Rachel’s help—both to keep Nick out of trouble and to reconnect with his younger brother. Rachel knows the importance of a family bond, but she hasn’t considered what excitement—or complications—a blossoming romance could add to their agreement. But Zack and Rachel’s chemistry is hard to ignore, and the two could be falling for each other faster than they realize.

This is a very enjoyable and sweet romance. I love the way Nora creates her characters and these were characters with depth that were easy to like and root for. I've read all of her In Death series and now have started on her romances and discovered that she is one multitalented woman. By the end of the novel I wished I could be friends with the people she had created in this story. Loved it. Easily 5 stars.

Nora Roberts builds her story line nicely in this book....like the past series she's written. I must prefer layered stories and good charter development over multiple sex passages.

Falling for Rachel is the third of six books in Norah Roberts' fine and fascinating series on the Stanislaski Family. It's NOT a new series of books, so if you've been reading Nora for a couple of decades, as I have, you've probably already read all six and enjoyed them once. They're worth another read and these e-versions definitely belong on the Kindles of Nora's devoted fans. Just be careful and try to read them in order; Amazon doesn't make this easy because on the KINDLE Bookstore site, if you search for "Stanislaski series," you'll be taken to a page that has the first two (or maybe three) in the order in which they were written, but gets the others all mixed up! To help you out, here is the chronological order of the series (and a couple of words on the relationship between Natasha, featured in the first book in the series, and the protagonist of each novel):
1. Taming Natasha
2. Luring a Lady, featuring Mikhail, Natasha's brother.
3. Falling for Rachel, featuring Rachel, Natasha's sister.
4. Convincing Alex, featuring Alexi, Natasha's brother.
5. Waiting for Nick, featuring Natasha's brother-in-law's brother!!
6. Considering Kate, featuring Natasha' s daughter.
In all of the books, you'll also meet or renew your relationship with Mama (Nadia) and Papa (Yuri) Stanislaski. Enjoy!

HOLD THE PRESSES. AN UPDATE: As of Jan. 15, 2014, Amazon's Kindle Store is offering, for a great price, the ebook Stanislaski's Bundle 1 of 2: Considering Kate\Convincing Alex\Falling for Rachel (bundle 2 will follow). Note, however, that once again, the publisher managed to mess up the order in which the books should be read for the best reader enjoyment! Amazing!! But for the price, it's a very good deal, and one that I missed, but you shouldn't.

This is one of those classic Nora Roberts' "every sibling needs to find their other half" - novels, short, romantic, and with a twist of drama & tension in the meantime to make sure you want to know how it all ends. Because, hey, you already knew they get each other in the end at the moment of purchase, but how will the step-brother end up, will everyone stay safe and unharmed, and so on and so forth. Romantic. Nice characters. Good dialogues.

Rachel is a lawyer and gets a case to defend Nick. His step brother steps in and they end up as co guardians. And fall in love. Read and see how this all turns out.

Third of six in Roberts' Stanislaski series, the warm-hearted, hot-blooded and gorgeous Ukranian-American family.

The author does her usual great job in creating characters that I care about; I was invested in their HEA. And I loved the bits with her family and wished for more.

However, this book probably would have worked better for me if the troubled brother was 15, even 17, not 19 years old. Also, the brief bits about gangs read more like Gang Light and occasionally made me wince. Minor issues, really.

I had a good time and am looking forward to #4.

This is the third book in the Stanislaskis series by Nora Roberts and it was exceptionally great. Rachel the hard nosed public defender gets Nick as a case, she gets appointed his co-guardian by the judge for two months. She didn't think she could do it, and she certainly didn't think it would change her life when her partner in all this is a stubborn ex-sailor. You get to know more about Alex in this book which is awesome, because his book is next. Awesome story and series thus far.

Well it was good but not the great Nora Roberts novel she normally writes. I gave it 3 stars.

Yet another brilliant book in the Stanislaskis series. Never a disappointment when you pick up a Nora Roberts book. This story is about fighting for a cause - the innocence of youths & the stupidity of grown-ups. Fantastic read & still keeps you grounded by the Luv & devotion of family. Very clever story by Nora Roberts so run out & buy her series [or 3] & bet you'll have trouble putting it down xx

As always a captivating read. Nora has managed to make you want to know and be involved with the whole family. Each member of the family is unique, so is each story but the way they are woven together through time brings a great satisfaction to the reader. There is always good humour, strong people and fantastic characters in any genre of books written by Nora Roberts, she has the ability to make you feel as though you are part of the story and that is what any reader is looking for in a book. I would recommend this series wholeheartedly to any lover of a good read .
