Sylas Murray is sent by his brother to ask for the wolves’ help in solving the mystery of a recent wolf-shifter attack. There are a few problems, however. Not only is he a cougar-shifter among a pack of wolves, the clan leader is also his ex-girlfriend. To say they had a bad break-up would be putting it mildly—Sy’s actions nearly destroyed the truce his clan had with the wolf-shifters. But as a virus threatens the GreyFire wolves, Sy and Kaya must put aside their past to find a cure.

As they work together and race against the clock, Sy starts to wonder why he let Kaya go in the first place. Despite their past, will he be able to reclaim the wolf that captured his heart and start over?

I fell in love with the author's dragon books, so when I saw this I had to have it. Her wolves are memorable as well as the dragons. In Reclaiming the wolf, young lovers experience the prejudices of two different animal shifters falling in love. As teens they are unable to stand up to the pressures and part. Ten years later, a deadly threat to the wolves bring the two clans together to fight and find the evil ones behind the danger.

Sy and Kaya, all grown up, but still alone. When they parted it was brutal and both were hurt. Will they find there was more than they knew that tore them apart? Are the feelings still strong enough to try again? But with the danger, will they both live to even try again. One thing they learn the passion they shared has withstood the years, it may even be steamier than before. However, is sex enough?

Enjoy watching them learn about real trust and that love can withstand all the pressures. I also listened to the audio and thoroughly enjoyed the presentation. Don't miss it in either form.

Awesome read. This is the official start to the Cascade Shifter series and wonderfully ties in the previous novella's characters while starting anew. We find two people who loved each other as teens, and were separated by misinformation and the machinations of a now dead man. Crisis brings the two of them back together and forces them to address the attraction between them, and the feelings they couldn't leave behind.
Very enjoyable book, with good plot continuation and believable growth between the main characters. Steamy sex scenes, and deep self-reflections bring the book to a rounded whole.

I truly enjoyed reading this book it was unique shifter love story I also love the fact that Kaya was clan leader in a world of the dominated by men. So the fact that she a Alpha female used to being in charge makes her relationship with the Alpha male Sylas so interesting the chemistry between them is smoking hot. Overall it was a great read and I would totally recommend this book to anyone who loves a Alpha female and Alpha male when tempers flare up things end up turning very steamy.

This book was a real pleasure to read, and also fulfilled my wish of a longer, more involved love story from this particular author. Although I'm still quite partial to her Dragon shifter stories, her wolf shifter and cougar shifter stories are also quite wonderful. The sexual tension is always remarkably written, the plot always in-depth and well thought out. I loved that the two main characters had a romantic history, that even though it originally failed to work out, the two turned out to be soul mates after all. I can't wait to see what happens next, in cougar's first Christmas.

With the help of Kian Sy's twin brother and clan leader they find a cure and eradicate the disease. I really loved the ending, but you're going have to read the story yourself to find out what happens! Jessie I will be reading the other two books in the continuing saga of the Cascade Shifters! This book is a must read.

I really liked Sylas and Kaya and thought they were perfect for each other and it was a shame they missed so much time together because of the interference of others. I was happy they got a second chance to be together in this book despite all they faced with her clan being threatened by an unknown entity they had to find and stop before they could focus on their own relationship.
