I love reunion romances, and this one doesn’t disappoint. I fell in love with Colt and Zee right from the start. They are wonderful characters who stay with you long after you read THE END. Their touching story hits you in the heart, and you can’t stop turning the pages to find out if they can find their way back to each other. I highly recommend this story to anyone who loves a great read. I loved it, and this is my favorite story from Ms. Gabriel yet!

This was my first read by Julia Gabriel and it’s sure not to be my last. I was drawn to Colt from the first page. My heart ached for what he went through and then again when he came home only to find out what he had lived for all these past months didn’t exist any more. I liked Zee, but I wonder if I wouldn’t have connected better with her if I had read the first book in the series first and met her there. Either way, the author did a good job filling in what happened in the first book, so It did truly feel like a stand a lone.
I did feel like the reason the two characters had broken up in the first place was not as monumental as the build up to it lead you to believe. When that was revealed, it made me feel like so many years had been wasted for almost no reason. Overall, it was a great story.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters, the plot, all of it. Zee is an interesting character. She's the daughter of a movie star, granddaughter of a writer but she has had some lonely times. She grew up in her mother's shadow and didn't know her father. Colt had Bern a student of Zee's grandfather when they first met and when they met again years later became involved. But something happened and in the present time they ate not together and haven't been for 4 years. Colt is on a writing assignment and I'd captured and tortured for months. His memory becomes affected, as well as his physical health, and he reunites with Zee not remembering they broke up.

After reading Phlox's story for free, I was glad to buy Zee's story. The story has an interesting premise - her ex-boyfriend lost his memory and believes they are still together even though they broke up 4 years ago. We know that Colt caused the break-up but don't find out what terrible thinghhe did until the end of the story. It wasn't that terrible, which explains why Zee was willing to take him back.

The characters from Phlox's story appear in thi story as well - I wish Cherise, the uber-efficient assistant, would get her own story.

Interestingly, chapters 6 and 7 are identical. How did the editors miss this?
