About the Author

Mike Mitchell is a native St. Louisan who has spent most of his adult life in New York and Rhode Island, with numerous long stretches in England and France. His first novel, WINDSTONE, is an adaptation of his screenplay Better Late Than Never (Originally entitled In The Blue Room). 
        Primarily known for having had an exceptionally diverse career in the performing arts--he has performed in major venues across the United States, as well as on Broadway, the Metropolitan Opera House and the New York State Theatre at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, the music Center in Los Angeles, and in three productions of "Great Performances" on PBS. In recent years, he has become known as one of the country's foremost teachers of vocal technique, both in his private studio in New York City, and for the Syracuse University Tepper Semester. His book 
ALL STAR CAST:The Memoirs of an Unknown will be available in the Autumn of 2020.
