Cricket Kiwann and several other bugs live in a terrarium. Cricket wanted to go to the fair. He convinces Kiwann to go with him. They have fun on the rides, eating a corndog, cotton candy and drinking soda. Kiwann is homesick. As they get ready to leave a bird attacks them. They are inside a bottle the bird can’t get into. Once the bird goes to sleep they realize that home is where they are the happiest.

Written for ages to 9 and grades P to 1, the little ones will like the adventure in going to the fair. Cricket and Kiwann go to the fair and ride the Ferris Wheel, the Merry go Round and the roller coaster..

Remember these two started out in their terrarium so they had quite the journey to the fair.

I really like the fact that the author has some big words in the text ..Words such as 'terrarium, convince, suggested and adventure' all come to mind.

They were both so glad to be home with their friends...

Most highly recommended.

Please note that I borrowed this with my KU subscription.
